Minato Namikaze - The TRAGIC Sacrifice Of Naruto's Fourth Hokage!
Minato Namikaze is regarded as being one of the most powerful shinobi to have ever existed in the Naruto world. Just his name alone put fear into the hearts of rival shinobi, to the point where do not engage orders were placed on Minato's name, ninjas from other countries were ordered to flee on sight, because fighting Minato was a certain death for most ninjas. When Minato became hokage, it was a warning to other nations that Konoha might have just come out of a major war and low on manpower, but Konoha was not a nation to be tested. Arguably the strongest ninja alive at the time was made into the hokage of the village, a war hero with mastery of sealing jutsu and the formidable flying raijin. Hiruzen Sarutobi might have stepped down, but Hiurzen had named a successor who was more than capable of keeping Konoha at the top of the hierarchy in regards to the ninja villages and being the strongest kage. However, everything changed faster than a yellow flash could move. The hokage known as the fastest man alive had too many problems to address, some in the short term and others with long term impact and for a man who was able to teleport anywhere he wished, he couldnt be everywhere at once on the night where Konoha needed its hokage the most, though due to no real fault of his own. There was only so much the fastest man alive could do. However, given the quick thinking that Minato had during the kyuubi attack, he was able to cement a future shift in power for Konoha by making his son into the nine tails and ultimately give his child the power he would need to save the ninja world, all fitting of a man who was the fastest alive!
When it comes to who is the strongest hokage or who is the best hokage, there have been numerous discussions in the fandom and thousands of videos have been made on the topic. However, the fact of the matter is that each person who ever became hokage is worthy of being celebrated. Many men and women have had dreams of being the hokage of the hidden leaf village, but not all of them were even in the running to become hokage. The seven men and women who were given the title of hokage and had their faces engraved into the hokage monument are shinobi who stand out above all the others. During their time as hokage, something about them made them stand out and it was something about them that made them the ONLY choice to lead the village when they were ruling Konoha. Some were brought in to lead the village during transition period and others were brought in as a sign of force and power to the other ninja villages.
Each of the seven hokages has done something truly remarkable during their time as hokage that allowed them to be remembered by history, for better or for worse. In our own world, we have people who write books about the various presidents and leaders who have served different countries, so why not take an honest look at the seven hokages? Grab those ramen bowls for this newest installment of Hokage Legacy, where we take a brutally honest look at the seven hokages and I give my opinion on why they should be respected or why they should be criticized for their time as hokage. Continuing where the last video left off, we're going to be looking at Minato Namikaze, the fourth hokage of Konoha, and look at how the words regret and saviour define his hokage legacy!
